I am a computer programmer, but I don't know HTML or CSS very well! How disgraceful. I think I can get the hang of it, though.
I am excited about the prospect of having a customizable website to share things I think about. I saw that they got rid of JavaScript support on Tumblr and a lot of thememakers were scrambling and couldn't make any more themes.
